And more than that, to trust in God’s purpose over our lives… knowing that everything happens for a reason, even when we don’t fully understand it in the moment. Sadie and Bakari had the honor of narrating the animation for @americanliver Bili the Brave. 🦁📖 On Thursday morning of her Spring Break at 5:45am, she had the privilege of educating others about her liver diagnosis on @goodmorning_columbia She did Amazing! 🙌🏾 Bili the Brave is part of a care package given to children diagnosed with Biliary Atresia — created to educate, comfort, and remind families they are not alone during such a difficult time. To watch Sadie use her voice to bring comfort to other children… it’s bigger than us. It’s purpose. It’s faith. I’m so grateful for this community. Together, we w I’m so grateful for this community. Together, we will continue to fight so South Carolinians have access to care — no matter what. My work with Planned Parenthood is deeply personal. While I was in graduate school in Atlanta, it was my go-to place for physicals, gynecological checkups, and birth control. It was accessible, affordable care when I needed it most as a student.
